St. Ambrose Cellars

This Course was nine to start. Expanded to 18 and is really improving with time. All the pads are now in.

The course is super tight and I ended up in the weeds most shots, which are full of things that poke and scratch. I play DC all over and this is the second time I have walked off a course. It seemed like half the shots were blind and the fairways are all around 20 feet wide. This is also a buggy area of the state in summer so while you hunt down a disk plan on having lots of company. I like that disc golf is growing in this area, but this really isn't a place to challenge but merely frustrating.

Great 9 hole - BUT hole 8 needs to be declared as a hazardous waste area.. DO NOT THROW TO THE LEFT OUTSIDE OF WOODS!!! After you are clear from the woods just off to the left behind the mounds of grass, (where you can’t see), st Ambrose is pumping what looks to be human waste into a pit!! It smells horrible and really puts a horrible taste in your mouth.. you can actually smell it all the way into the parking lot out front on a windy day.. I appreciate the random course here as well as the effort put into course management but come on that’s just not right..

More of a novelty course set up. Its a joke

Impressive course for the area. Very narrow and lots of trees makes it a bit technical. But slam a few meads and it’s not that bad. Tee pads seem to be on every few holes. This course is still in development, but has a ton of potential. Also, what other course is attached to a mead biased brewery!?!? I will be paying this course every year I vacation up here.
