Very nice "feel good course". Currently, there are no concrete tee-pads and there are piles of brush in locations, however, the Amherst recreation department has been doing a great job cleaning up the course and making improvements.
This course is great for families with small kids as well as new players. Expect low scores if you are an avid player.

Clean course, always well maintained and improvements are continuously being made. Fairly short course but great for confidence building rounds.

Rating based on having the final product. Course is brand new, a lot of work still needs to be done w/ the tee pads, clearing up a bunch of brush, etc. but like the course. Well laid out to me. Good mixture of holes to the left, right, and straight w/ varying distances. Fairways mostly wide open. With the par being 55, I'm sure the SSE will be around 45.

In the early stages, a lot needs to be done. Pads, clean up the lots, dirt. Could be a contender, lets wait and see

Definitely bring first timers and noobs here. A great course for beginners to intermediate, advanced players may be a bit bored.
The course is still being constructed but looks to be an A- to A when complete.
Wish it had a larger practice/warm up lawn. Liked that it has a bathroom onsite and the underbrush was sparse enough to make finding discs easy.

This is a fun, intermediate course with a nice variety of challenges. It's very new, so there's lots of cleanup yet to be done, but every time I go, I see incremental improvements. The benches and bridges are nicely built. A few of the tee pads are not level, which can be awkward. I also think these 8ft raised pads are a bit of a problem. Raised pads limit a person's approach, and it also provides a bit of a hazard. Of the two times I was there, I slid off three of the pads. One of those ...

Had to bump up the rating to A- w/ all tee pads are level with pavers now, thank you Amherst Rec Dept and Rec Crew!
Fairly open with a few tee challenges and great recovery opportunities.
Requires a lot of clean up from initial clearing, but we have a couple of locals that are working to improve.
