General registration is for Mixed/Co-ed teams. Must have 2 teams sign up or will be moved to normal AM
Holes 1-6 “Best score”
Description:
All players will play the hole as an individual. Just like singles. You will record only the best persons score as your team score. If player A gets a 3, player B gets a 2; The team would record a score of 2 for the hole.
For speed of play if wanted, players on a team can concede a hole. For instance, if player A is parked, Player B hit first available and rolled OB; Player B could just pick up the lie and rely on player A because they conceivably couldn’t get a worse score than Player A
Holes 7-12 “Alt shot”
Description:
1 player from the team is strategically chosen to tee off first on hole 7. (we will call them Playe A) Player B will play from player A’s lie; and now must go after player A every time. If player A holed out, then player B must throw the next tee shot; or continue playing the hole until it is finished out in the same order.
Everyone must go in order once the order is chosen. There is ABSOLUTELY no skipping turns or choosing who putts or drives on any hole. You can only determine the order on hole 7. Then follow the order until hole 12 is holed out.
Holes 13-18 “Worst shot”
Description:
All players will tee off. The opposite team on the same card will determine who has the worst shot. Sometimes it is obvious. Please ask the opposite team to be sure. From the worst tee shot all players will play from that lie. After all players throw, the opposite team will determine which lie is the worst. The players will continue playing from the worst lie until ALL 2 players hole out! Yes ALL 2 /both players have to make the putt to finish out the hole.
Everyone keeps playing from the worst lie until the hole is complete. Everyone makes putt.
Co-Ed teams will play best shot 1-6, Alt shot 7-12, and best shot again 13-18
