About this tournament
Join us for the Sleepy Hollow Showdown, the 1st Annual Charity Disc Golf Tournament held at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course located at 8600 Country Club Drive in Rome, NY. This event promises to be a day filled with friendly competition, comradery, and fun, all while supporting a great cause. This is a one-round unlimited $1 mulligan tournament.
Sign-ins will begin at 9 am - 9:45 am, with a player meeting immediately following the close of check-in. Tee time is at 10 am, so make sure to arrive on time to find your cardmates and know your starting hole.
To ensure a safe and family-friendly environment, there will be ABSOLUTELY no outside alcoholic beverages allowed. However, a bar is available in the clubhouse for all your tournament beverages.
Lunch will be provided after the round to keep you fueled and ready to play some mini-games and do the raffle. Rapid River Disc will be on-site selling merchandise, so be sure to check out their selection. For those looking to enhance their experience, a limited number of golf carts will be available to rent for an additional fee.
This event aims to bring together disc golf and animal enthusiasts for a day of fun and fundraising for our local Humane Society in Rome, NY. As this is our first event, we are excited to make it an annual tradition and hope to see a great turnout. If you have a basket or two to contribute for the day, please reach out to one of the tournament staff members. As this is not a permanent course we will need access to your basket the day before the event for set-up.
