Prodigy presents The Pioneers' Pursuit at Rocky Face Ridge

The Prodigy Disc and Whitfield County, Georgia welcome you to Pioneer’s Pursuit at Rocky Face Ridge! This event is part of the American Battlefield Trust's annual Park Day and features a full day of history and disc golf on a beautiful piece of property in central Whitfield County.

Rocky Face Ridge is a sprawling 1,000 acre property that is rich with history dating back to the Civil War. The park features hiking and biking trails with stunning views of the surrounding area, including Kennesaw Mountain, Fort Mountain, and Lookout Mountain.

Prodigy is proud to partner with the county’s Park Day festivities, as we host the Pioneers’ Pursuit at this all-new temporary disc golf course designed by Dalton’s own and 3-time US Disc Golf Champion, Will Schusterick.

Park day festivities will include a history program with local historian, Bob Jenkins. Food trucks available on site from 11 AM to 1 PM. Event t-shirts will be available for purchase and Prodigy will be vending all day.

Tee times start at 9:00 am and end at 2:00 pm. All divisions will tee off from the MAIN layout marked with distances. The PDGA live scoring will have the OB and distances also.

Practice rounds will be available on Friday, April 5 and there will be an extra basket near tournament central to warm up with ahead of your round.

The player pack will be an event stamped Prodigy disc and a meal from one of two food trucks on site that day. Pros will get a cash payout.
