Mirror Twin Brewing presents the 2024 Lexington Open XXVI (PROS ONLY)

Lexington Open XXVI will take place on May 10-12, 2024. Cost of event will be $125 per player with a $5 mandatory ace pot. We will only be using Jacobson Park this year. We have made improvements to this course which will add difficulty and a better experience. Course details will be provided as the event gets closer.

Course Updates and Layout.
We have added two new tee-pads on Hole 9 and Hole 13. Both of these holes are now longer and more indicative of a Championship course. Hole 9 went from a 467' tweener Par 3/4 to a 632 Ft Par 4. Hole 13 went from a 236' Par 3 to a 344' Par 3. We have also added 2 new pin positions on Hole 2 and 8. Hole 2 basket will pushed back about 80' or so to make it a more challenging Par 4, and Hole 8 has been moved back and to the right about 30' to 40' to give it a little extra. Hole 7 that used to require you to go around the right of a Mando to access basket, now trees and chain link fence have been removed to allow to see the basket from tee. It is now 307' slight tunnel shot to reach basket.

We plan on adding artificial OB on a couple of the holes to increase difficulty and to require shot type decisions off the tee. Hole 11 will be an island green where disc must come to rest in the island. Island Green will be approximately a 45' circle. Drop Zone will be 25' to 35' from edge of circle.

We also will be playing the course in the following configuration. Hole 13 will be the starting hole for the tournament each day. We will have tournament central located to the right of the parking lot and shelter. Hole 12, the long downhill Par 4, will be your finishing hole each day.

Reminder: The BDGA will be hosting a Player's Party at Mirror Twin Brewing on Saturday May 11th from 1 PM to close. Mirror Twin has been a gracious Title Sponsor and provided their amazing facility for our use. Plan on stopping by after your round and enjoying one of their many craft beers and our Special Beer Release "LEX OPEN A BEER". And on an even better note Mirror Twin has been approved to sell beer on the course during and after round at Jacobson.





Lexington Open XXVI is officially a Regional Qualifier for the 2024 LWS Open at Idlewild. Playing in DGPT events is becoming increasingly more difficult with tiered-based registration, and so the DGPT has instituted regional qualifiers to give the ability for local players the ability to qualify for DGPT events. This event is offering 2 MPO and 2 FPO spots. The top finishers who are not already registered for Idlewild will get a guaranteed spot to register for the event (you will still need to pay the entry fee). If this person cannot compete or does not want the spot, the qualifying spot will go to the next highest finisher. Players have 24-48 hours to accept or decline this offer.
