About this tournament
Thanks for visiting the Knock on Wood Tag Knockdown 2024.
We're excited to be back in action!
This is a singles event, single division, where the best score takes best tag.
All skill levels are welcome! No previous entry necessary, no necessary disc golf experience even required! Let us show you how leagues run with a ton of added prizes!
The event will be limited to the first 60 people registered for safety and time's sake.
Sign ups are accepted in person as well as here.
We will be grouping players into cards of 5 for a shotgun start (entire field starts at the same time from different tee pads).
There will be a trophy for first place and we are currently taking sponsors for added prizes. Contact us if you would like to contribute.

Scoring will be kept on UDisc with the League Event function.

Ties will be broken alphabetically (A-Z) by last name. Throw offs/Follow-up rounds encouraged, tho!
$25 Entry fee includes:
A real maple wood bag tag
Stickers from our sponsor Smugglers Coffee
Printed club info card/schedule
Chances at 12 separate Closest To Pin prizes
Access to the Ace Pot
Your name in the raffle for prizes!
How the funds are distributed:
$10 pays for your tag. Owning a tag is your right to trade it back at future events for a chance at a better ranking.
$10 acts as a donation to the club. These funds contribute to a yearly donation to the Lake Hills Baptist Church Disc Golf fund as a thank you for the use of their property. These donations also help to provide added cash and to purchase more enticing prizes. For example, part of the player's pack this year are stickers from our sponsor Smugglers Coffee (https://store.smugglerscoffee.com/) and a physical club schedule card that will be printed on card stock!
$3 goes to the Ace Pot
This is a guaranteed 100% payout! If an ace isn't hit there will be a throw off.
The club will be adding funds to the Ace Pot to round it up to the nearest $50/$100.
For example:
At 27 people, the Ace Pot will contain $81, but we will round it up to $100.
At 39 people, the Ace Pot will contain $117, but we will round it up to $150.
At 51 people, the Ace Pot will contain $153, but we will round it up to $200.
If we can reach our participant limit of 60 people, we will add cash to make the Ace Pot $250!
$2 goes to cash Closest To Pin prizes.
For every 10 sign ups, there will be a $20 CTP on the field.
All information tentative and subject to change with consideration for the benefit of the majority.
