About this tournament
Welcome to the first annual Hallux Disc Golf Huckaway! We’re super excited to host what we hope to be the first of many tournaments here at Falconer Park and the WNY region.
Tournament play will be 2 rounds of singles following PDGA guidelines with an approximate 1-hour intermission for lunch between rounds following the last card being turned in. Lunch is NOT provided, but there are many places to get food nearby.
Player’s pack will be provided by Hallux Disc Golf and consist of 3 base plastic discs from among the designated boxes—YOUR choice—on a first-come, first-served basis. Various brands available include Dynamic, Westside, Latitude 64, Discmania, and several others with an assortment of putters, midranges, and fairway as well as distance drivers! Additional such discs may be purchased for $10/ea.+tax.
THE CATCH: Player’s pack discs and afore-mentioned additionals will be the ONLY discs allowed to be thrown during the course of singles play. Choose your discs wisely!
Top finishers from each division will receive cash payouts or scrip to Hallux Disc Golf inventory, a selection of which will be onsite for scrip use as well as general purchase.
CTPs and Ace Pool will be covered by your entry fee—if you’ve signed up to play the tournament, you’re in!
ACE POOL: If multiple aces are hit during course of play, Ace Pool will be evenly split. In the event that no aces are hit, a throw-off will take place following Round 2 to determine who wins it.
Please do your best to pick an appropriate division—respectfully, please no sandbagging. Hallux Disc Golf reserves the right at their discretion to restrict winnings from players suspected of intentional such misplay. We want this to be a FUN, and as much as possible, FAIR tournament. If you are uncertain which division to choose, Intermediate (INT) is recommended. Thank you.
