First Run Open

Welcome to the 2024 First Run Open! For the second year in a row, the event will be taking place at the Ballantyne temp course. The address for the course is 11620 N Community House Rd in Charlotte. Please park on the left side of the buildings or in front of the leftmost building.

We will have 2 pools thus year to accommodate more players. Each pool will play 1 round each day and will play either the AM shotgun start or the PM shotgun start (each pool will rotate meaning you will play 1 morning round and 1 afternoon round).

The A Pool will play the AM shotgun start on Saturday and the PM shotgun start on Sunday.

The B Pool will play the PM shotgun start on Saturday and the AM shotgun start on Sunday.

The First Run Open is a PDGA B tier and will feature a players pack and trophies for amateurs. The pro divisions will have $750 added cash and trophies for top finishers.

SPONSORSHIPS: Hole sponsorships will cost $150 and will include a custom basket wrap with your companies information displayed on the basket as well as a sponsor sign at the tee. In addition to the wrap and sign, you will have first right of refusal to buy your basket (Innova Discatcher Pro) for $250. The sign and basket wrap will be displayed for the entire 3 weeks we have the course set up this year. Last year we averaged well over 150 players per day so the exposure will be excellent!

F1RST RUN DISC GOLF is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. Refund requests/drops within 14 days of the event where there is not someone on the waitlist (in your pool) to claim your spot) will have their choice of a 50% refund or the players pack.
