About this tournament
CDGC are pleased to present the 2024 Croydon Cyclone!
This will be BDGA tour stop #4.
We are delighted to announce that we have partnered with the Addiscombe Cricket Club just 100 meters behind the tee of 10. It will be CDGC's permanent clubhouse and also serve as tournament headquarters for this event. You will have access to the car park, toilets, changing rooms, and bar for the duration of the event.
Barney's Tuck Shop is back by popular demand!!! The shop will be located by the tee of hole 10 on Saturday and near Hole 1 on Sunday. All participants will receive a £5 voucher (aka Barney Bucks) to use at the shop. Please bring cash for additional purchases.
There will be a player social at the cricket club after the second round on Saturday, where you can take advantage of the bar and freshly made pizzas (at your own expense) until midnight.
The trophy presentation will directly follow the final round on Sunday in the cricket club.
The event fee is £30 per player. Any player that registers for the event before the 15th of March will receive a bonus, personalised gift.
This will be a three round event with all rounds being shotgun start.
All of the BDGA tour divisions will be on offer, however divisions with less than 5 participants will be consolidated. If you are unsure of which division to play, please reach out to our staff.
We will be introducing, for the first time in Cyclone history, a new layout for MP60, FP60, FP40, MA3, FA3, and Junior divisions. It will be a shorter layout that follows the Gold course and offers a more realistic and inclusive challenge.
There will be trophies for every division, cash for pro divisions, and prize vouchers for amateur divisions.
Lunches will be available to purchase both days upon registration and will include a vegetarian option.
