4th Annual Triple Double

Back again! 3 rounds of doubles play in one day! Crazy? Yes! Worth it? Also, yes!

This will be the 4th year of the Triple Double. We will be playing the same format as the previous years and the same courses.

Pros and MA1 will begin at Jackson Rec, go to Lenni Lenape for Round 2, and finish out at South Hills.

MA2 will begin the day at Lenni Lenape, go to South Hills for Round 2, and finish the day at Jackson Rec.

MA3 will begin the day at South Hills, go to Jackson Rec for Round 2, and finish the day at Lenni Lenape.

Just a reminder of the scoring format for each round. Each pool will play best shot doubles in Round 1, switch to Dutch Doubles Eound 2, and then go back to best shot doubles Round 3.

The player pack for ams this year will also be quite different. I have partnered with Dirty Birdie Disc Golf to provide a $50 bundle for all amateurs that includes a tube of Dirty Birdie grip enhancer, a customized aluminum mini, and a Dirty Birdie waffle towel. All amateurs will also receive a tournament stamped disc from a manufacturer to be named later. All amateurs will also receive a random item from an item bin which will include additional minis, MaxWax products, and more.

Pros will be paid out through PayPal. If an ace is hit, this will also be paid through PayPal. Ams will not be receiving payouts because of the generous player packs.

Financial Breakdown as follows:

Deductions from all players:

$4 per team for player sanctioning
$2 per team for pavilions, insurance, supplies, and sanctioning agreement
$8 per team for trophies (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each division)

Ams will additionally deduct:

$60 per team for Dirty Birdie bundle
$36 per team for tourney stamped disc
$10 per team for random player pack item
