RPM Discs, WIN.O and the Parked Rangers DGC are excited to welcome you back to Brook Park, Te Kuiti for the 2024 Brook Park Brave disc golf tournament. This event is sanctioned by the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA C-tier) and New Zealand Disc Golf Association (NZDG).

Brook Park is a beautiful setting for autumn disc golf. We're thrilled to invite you to Te Kuiti this Anzac weekend, April 26-28th, for a 3-day, 3-round tournament amid Brook Parks beautiful autumn colours. PLAYERS PACK:
Every player, pros and amateurs, will receive a beautiful double-stamp tournament disc, made by the good folk at RPM Discs.

LUNCH:
All players will receive a 3-day lunch discount voucher to Bosco Cafe, located at the entrance of Brook Park. Bosco have supported disc golf in Te Kuiti for many years and we are so grateful to have their support again this April.

This event is proudly co-hosted by RPM DIscs, WIN.O Disc Golf and the Parked Rangers Disc Golf Club. We are proud to return to Te Kuiti in 2024 to host a great event at Brook Park. Additionally, we're excited to welcome the support of event sponsors, many of whom are locally owned in Te Kuiti, whose have graciously donated in support of the event and prize pool.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
The 2024 Brook Park Brave will be held over 3-days, April 26-28th. Competitors will play 1-round of 18 holes per day. All groups will begin their round from Hole #1 and tee times will be published to the PDGA Event Page the night before each round. TOURNAMENT LAYOUT:
- All pro divisions and MA1 will compete from the Champ Tees for the duration of the tournament.
- MA40, MA50, MA2, FA1 and FA40 will receive a short survey shortly before the event, to gather feedback on your preferred tournament layout. The layout chosen by the majority of players within your division will be assigned to your division.
- MA3, FA3 and all junior divisions will compete from the short tees for the duration of the tournament.

REGISTRATION:
Registration will open on Tuesday the 19th of March at 8PM NZT. The field size will be limited to 80 players.

Refund policy

We recognise that circumstances may arise that prevent players from participating in our event. To ensure fairness and transparency, we have established the following refund policy:

1. Refund Eligibility:
Refunds will only be issued to registered players who meet the eligibility criteria outlined in this policy.

2. Refund Deadlines:
Requests for refunds must be made through DG Scene's withdrawal/refund request function. Please login to your DG scene account and to access this functionality. Refund requests will be accepted until April 12th, 2024, which is 14 days before the tournament's scheduled start date.

3. Refund Amounts:
Refunds requested before the refund deadline will be subject to an administrative fee to cover processing costs. After the refund deadline has passed, no refunds will be issued.

4. Eligible Circumstances for Refunds:
Refund requests submitted after April 12th, 2024, will be considered under the following circumstances:
a. Medical Emergency: A player sustains a medical injury or illness that prevents their participation. Documentation from a qualified medical professional may be required.
b. Tournament Cancellation: In the event that the tournament is canceled for any reason, participants will receive a full refund of their registration fees.

5. Refund Processing:
Refunds will be processed within 10 working days of receiving a valid refund request.
Refunds will be issued via DG Scene.

6. Non-Refundable Items:
Certain items, such as custom tournament merchandise or optional add-ons, may be non-refundable. Please refer to the specific event details for clarification.

7. Discretion:
The organising parties reserve the right to exercise discretion in exceptional cases and may consider refund requests that do not strictly adhere to this policy.

In registering for this event, participants acknowledge and accept this refund policy. This refund policy is subject to change at the discretion of tournament organisers, and any updates will be communicated to registered participants.
